Pimicikamak is implementing traditional feasts as a means of providing alternative healthy eating options to our citizens and to maintain the customs of the cree ways. Wild foods like moose meat, caribou meat, fish, beaver, muskrats are healthy alternatives to processed foods that people buy from the store.

Through this program, Pimicikamak was able to provide a number of feasts throughout the year for the citizens. They include events such as spring feast, fall feast, General Assembly, Treaty days and the community Christmas banquet.
