The Executive Council initiated this program in conjunction with the establishment of the local justice committee in an effort to replace the Canadian justice system that is failing the Pimicikamak people and other Indigenous peoples.

Funding was used to pay a restorative justice worker and support for three seasonal events that had the primary goal of working with troubled youths, taking them back to the land and offering them traditional methods of healing and guidance from the community and elders with a view of avoiding the youth from getting in trouble with the law.
