This program provides citizens who still rely on wood burning stoves with fuel wood.

The program focuses on all users of fire wood, wood burding stoves especially elders and citizens who are physically disadvantaged and are not able to gather their own.  This program also was established to ensure Pimicikamak revived it’s traditional source of natural energy that has sustained indigenous nations for thousands of years.  Fire is seen as a source of healing for indigenous peoples and provides hope.
