2018 was the second year of this program which aims to assist Pimicikamak citizens in establishing a responsible workforce with the youths by ensuring that the students gain meaningful work experience in summer. Duties are derived from programs being implemented out of the Pimicikamak Okimawin Administration Office and include duties such as cleaning up and maintaining public spaces, common areas where citizens gather, and recreation facilities to improve both functionality and aesthetic quality. Other assigned include succession planning for youth interested in pursuing carreers in health and wellness program administration and involvement in the Pimicikamak and Manitoba Hydro Relationship Awareness programming.

Last year the student group had the opportunity to receive level 1 first aid training.  The students are also allocated some time to shadow Pimicikamak staff and learn about the functioning of the government.
